Description of the Coin
Front
The Hebrew words in the center, "Achvat Yisrael" (Brotherhood). Intertwining branches appear in the field of the coin signifying the "Unity of Man".
Reverse
The denomination of "1, 2 or 10" and the word "Sheqel" or "Sheqalim" in Hebrew and English. The State Emblem in the center. "Israel" in Hebrew, English and Arabic and the date 1984/5744.
The uncirculated silver coin is mintmarked with a 6 pointed star below the State Emblem. The proof coins are mintmarked with a Hebrew 'mem'.

Uncirculated: A Mint State coin struck on a standard planchet. It will display a matte type finish. A small six pointed "Star of David" mintmark struck on the "Brotherhood" coin below the State emblem.
Proof: A coin which was made with special care. The coins are struck using polished dies. The planchets are specially selected and polished. The coins exhibit a mirror-like surface in the fields and a frosted appearance on the raised points of the coin. A small Hebrew 'mem' mintmark is struck on the "Brotherhood" coin below the State emblem.
