Front: The bust of William Bibb and Thomas Kilby with the date '"1921'" below. The names "Bibb" and "Kilby" separated by the date. In the field, 22 stars that refers to Alabama as the 22nd state. Around the rim, "United States of America - Half Dollar - In God We Trust ".
Reverse: The eagle from the State Seal, in the center. Around the rim, "State of Alabama" and "1819 - Centennial - 1919".
